No, those men are not hobbits. This is a big damn truck.

Are you sure those aren’t hobbits

Why does Ford suck so badly at grilles

I just saw my first one in the wild today. I think their friends by end is pretty ugly.

I don’t like the redesign myself, but you have to respect a man who spends one-third the value of his little house on a truck — right?

Well, if you use it as the tool it’s intended to be, I see no problem with it. If it’s a diesel the resale value of those will be just about good as gold.
If it’s just a fashion assessory, then lame.

As I’m getting older, my policy seems to be gearing towards: “If you can afford it, go for it.” Unfortunately, we have many people that can only technically afford anything (“7-year loan? But the monthly payments are so cheap!”)

Is THAT what respect is? I’ve been doing it all wrong

Same, considering I spent 1,000 on my pickup.

Very true. I try to make it my policy not to decide which people are which, because I don’t know their finances. Some of the teachers at my school drive some very high end cars ... and I can’t help but wonder ... but maybe their spouse just makes a bunch of money.
Sometimes I can’t help but judge though, because you can tell ...

I enjoy making assumptions and testing them. I remember years ago we had a customer who just built his $3 million dream house on X acres on the water -- and he and his wife drove dirty FJ80s. He also had an old Scout that didn’t run. Nicest guy. Wish I could meet more people like him.

That’s ridiculously large. My dad is looking to replace his ‘04 Ranger Edge with a new Lariat Super Duty with the diesel, but with single instead of double rear wheels. I don’t know if it’ll even fit in our driveway after seeing the one in the picture.
